'My heart is broken' Tributes pour in for Luke Perry from his Beverly Hills, 90210 cast mates

Actor Luke Perry - who rose to fame as Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210 - tragically died of a stroke on Monday at 52, prompting an emotional outpouring of tributes from his former co-stars.
Ian Ziering, who played Steve Sanders, was the first Beverly Hills, 90210 star to pay tribute tweeting, “Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we’ve shared over the last thirty years. May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here, for those you leave behind.”
Jennie Garth, who played Kelly Taylor, released an exclusive statement to PEOPLE: “My heart is broken. He meant so much to so many. Such a very special person. I share my deep sadness with his family and all who loved him. Such a terrible loss.”
Gabrielle Carteris, who played Andrea Zuckerman on the show, told PEOPLE, “I am absolutely heartbroken. Luke was a tremendous force in the lives of so many. He was a very sensitive soul who was kind, generous and he fought for the underdog. He was a strong voice and an advocate who will be so missed by all who knew him. He has left his mark – never to be forgotten. My heart goes out to his family, friends and fans around the globe.”
Meanwhile, Molly Ringwald, who appeared as Luke's ex-wife on Riverdale, tweeted that she was devastated by the actor’s death.
“My heart is broken. I will miss you so much Luke Perry,” she wrote. “Sending all my love to your family.❤️ #LukePerry”
Another Beverly Hills, 90210 cast member Christine Elise McCarthy, who played Emily Valentine on the show fondly paid tribute to the actor with a candid photo from their days working together on the teen drama that featured twins joining the impossibly rich and glamorous rich kids of Hollywood.
