Princess Mary shares stunning portraits of royal twins

Her Royal Highness Princess Mary has shared some beautiful photos of her eight-year-old twins on the Palace’s Instagram page.

The doting Mum took the beautifully candid pictures herself. The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton also takes her children’s official portraits and shares them on social media as well.

Royal experts says this helps ensure the children are more relaxed and offers a more candid insight into their personalities as opposed to formal portraits which can be a little stiff.

The royal twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, have just turned eight, so Mum Mary decided to capture the special moment to share with royal fans.

The siblings will mark their eighth birthday surrounded by friends and family with private celebrations at their home in Copenhagen.

The twins are the youngest children of Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik and have two older siblings, Prince Christian, 13, and Princess Isabella, 11.
