Their royal highnesses Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have attended their first formal engagement together since rumours of a rift started swirling some time ago.
The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex joined their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry for the Queen’s traditional lunch at Buckingham Palace.
Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of speculation about growing tension between the two couples, but they were all smiles at her Majesty’s lunch.
Also in attendance were Prince William and Kate Middleton’s two older children, George and Charlotte.
Other royals included Prince Andrew, Princess Anne, the Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Beatrice, Lady Louise Windsor and her daughter Sophie Wessex.
The families will soon head off to Norfolk to join the other royals at Sandringham.
Last month, reports emerged that Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan planned to move out of Kensington Palace, where they live next door to Wills and Kate, to set up home at Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate.
