It's official!

Babies who are born in December are officially special - and will live longer than others, says a new study!

A study published in the Journal of Ageing Research says babies born in December were more likely to live exceptionally long lives.

Who knows why but babies born in December have a "significantly higher risk of surviving up to age 105-plus compared to the June-born."

That's a lot of birthdays... which is good news for December babies, who often feel like they have drawn the short straw in having a birthday while everyone else is celebrating Christmas.

Another similar survey found that December babies are nicer people. Fact!

A survey of US college students shows people born in December complain less than others - and have less frequent mood swings. So they're probably nicer to be friends with too AND December babies have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease, another study of 1,749,400 people from the United States suggests

The study’s principal investigator thinks the findings are down to "seasonal variations", the Washington Post reported.

So if you're about to have a December baby, have a December baby or you ARE a December baby - you're pretty much officially amazing.

And science backs that up!
