Mum's amazing $5 hack to make THIS 1st birthday cake!
So easy!
When Aussie mum Brittany Beehag took to social media to reveal her daughter’s amazing first birthday cake, it would be easy to think that it was the work of a master baker and dessert chef extraordinaire.
But it turns out this epic cake - which spells out the word ‘one’ - is the work of Brittany herself, and she used Woolworths pre-made sponge cakes to create the masterpiece.
The clever mum took to the Facebook group Woolies/Coles Mudcake Hacks to reveal her creation, revealing that she used the Woolworths sponge to create the letters - filling and topping the letters with vanilla bean buttercream and vanilla custard.
And it’s no surprise that the cake went down an absolute treat with the group’s other followers, who were so impressed.
‘OMG you're a chef, this is perfection,’ wrote one follower. Said another: ‘This is the best cake I ever did see!’ And another: ‘This is bloody amazing!’
Brittany said she used two $5 slabs from the Woolworths bakery to create the cake, using a stencil to cut out the letters.
After piping on the buttercream and vanilla custard, she then decorated it with flowers, chocolate pieces, musk sticks, macarons and more. Amazing!
‘This is GOALS!’ wrote another fan.
