Tension grows over missing Discovery Seed packs
Shoppers are outraged.
Woolworths Discovery seedlings promotion has been one of the biggest supermarket collectable campaigns of 2019.
Shoppers have until October 22 to complete their collector trays, or until stocks run out.
With less than 2 weeks left to collect - more and more angry customers are complaining that their local Woolies stores have completely run out and have been told that they will not be receiving more stock.
When contacted by Practical Parenting a Woolworths spokesperson confirmed: "Due to popular demand, there is a small percentage of stores which may be out of stock".
Woolworths adds: "We are working hard to ensure more stock is being sent to those stores as the program continues.
Woolworths Discovery Garden is only available while stocks last."

Australia is in the middle of one of the biggest and most successful supermarket collectable campaigns.
Shoppers have been furiously collecting Discovery Garden seedlings.
With 24 to collect, 25 if you count the elusive sunflower pots, shoppers are desperately trying to complete their collector trays before the promotion draws to a close.
Officially Discovery Garden finishes on October 22, or until stocks run out, and it seems that stores are indeed running out!
Discovery Garden fan pages are buzzing over their local Woolworths supermarket running out of the seedlings.
“Friday, $400 worth of groceries. Huge amount of Vegas and fruit. BUT NO LITTLE GARDENS TO BE GIVEN OUT? The checkout lady said that woolies had run out!!!
Where are my gardens Woolworths”????”, posted one collector.
“Has anyone else’s Woolworths run out, I had to get a couple of things from my local and grabbed a couple of extra things to make up to $30 so I would get one and they told me they are sold out 😢🌱 there is still two weeks to go and I still need chives 😢”, commented another.
“I haven’t been able to get any for the last 3 weeks at our store.”, said another.
Numerous shoppers are claiming that their stores have sold out and were told by Woolworths staff that they were not getting more stock in.
But in a bizarre twist, Woolworths maintain that they still have plenty of kits available to collect. A Woolworths spokesperson told Practical Parenting “We still have millions of seedlings left for our customers to collect.”
