A woman claims she was fired via text message after revealing to her manager she was pregnant.
Kameisha Denton, from Washington state, recently accepted a job at a popular restaurant chain.
After realizing she hadn’t been rostered on for any more shifts, Ms Denton messaged her boss – only to receive a horrible reply.
‘Hello I am sorry to inform you but it’s not going to work out with Jersey Mike's. It’s not a good time for us to have someone who is leaving for maternity leave in several months anyways,’ the message read.
‘You also failed to tell me this during our interview. Good luck to [sic].’

The mother-to-be shared a screenshot of the message thread on Facebook and asked if it was ‘allowed’.
Her post was met with a flood of comments telling Ms Denton it was illegal to fire someone for being pregnant.
‘No this is highly illegal it’s discrimination. People have sued for this. Sorry you’re going through this love,’ one person wrote.
‘Yeah they aren't allowed to say it's because you're pregnant that's illegal. It’s discrimination you do not get turned down for race, age, pregnancy, family etc,’ another said.
After her post went viral, business owner Tim Trieb confirmed to TV station KIR07 that the manager responsible for the message had resigned.
Ms Denton was reportedly offered her job back, but she refused.
