New Beanie Boo 'Katy Koala', money raised for WIRES
So many native animals will receive urgent care after bushfires
Ty Warner, the billionaire American entrepreneur who launched the Beanie Babies craze years ago, is stepping up to aid animals affected by the Australian wildfires.
He announced that 100% of worldwide profits will be donated to WIRES.
WIRES (Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service) has been rescuing and caring for 30 years and is the largest wildlife rescue organisation in Australia.
"Hopefully, this special Beanie Boo will raise awareness around the world about these devastating fires raging through Australia and will provide help to all wildlife affected by the tragedy," said Ty Warner, CEO and founder of Ty Inc.
Katy Koala will be available for sale worldwide from February.
