WATCH HERE: Woman charged with murder after pushing elderly man off bus
Just awful
A 25-year-old woman has been charged by police after pushing an elderly man off a bus in America.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police claim Cadesha Bishop was “yelling and cursing” at 74-year-old Serge Fournier during a trip in late March, 7News reports.
Passengers and witnesses said Ms Bishop had been shouting profanities at other passengers before Fournier interceded and asked her to be nicer.
When the elderly man asked Bishop to “be nicer to other passengers” she waited for the door to open and then pushed him forcefully off the bus.
In video footage, the man is seen falling out of the bus and onto the sidewalk outside, landing on top of the metal cart he was carrying.
USA Today reports that the man initially survived the fall, however he died a few weeks later.
Bishop has been charged with one count of open murder of an elderly-vulnerable person.
