Top 20 baby names of 2018 revealed

The most popular baby names for 2018 have been revealed by the Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages (Victoria) and once again Oliver and Olivia are in the number one spots.

Other boys’ names making the top 10 list include Jack, Henry, William and Ethan. It seems classic names are staying strong despite the trends for unusual names.

Charlotte came in at number two on the girls’ list, no doubt at least partially inspired by Princess Charlotte. Short, sweet and simple names such as Isla, Zoe, Ava and Mia were also in the top 10.
