Twin girls, aged two, their sister, aged three-and-a-half, their mum and their grandma have all been found dead in a house in Perth.
Police haven't released their names yet, but they have confirmed that the children and the two women were killed inside the property in Coode Street, Bedford.
A man aged in his 20s turned himself into police on Sunday just before they discovered the bodies.
'The man currently assisting police remains in custody, no charges have been laid at this time,' police said on Monday.
A neighbour, Vagner D'Souza, told ABC News that the whole street was in shock.
'They just seemed like a normal family, you would never imagine anything like this happening here,' he said
Neighbours told reporters that they had not seen the family in at least seven days.
'We thought they were on holiday, they haven't been there all week,' Desrae Cambos said.
The father of the children is thought to run a lawn-mowing business but he hasn't been seen for about a week at the property.
Streets in the area are still in lock down but police stressed that there are no public safety concerns no suspects are at large.
