You celebrate the beginning of your marriage surrounded by friends and family, sipping on champagne and, of course, eating cake. So it only makes sense that you celebrate your divorce with cake, too, right? Apparently so, according to the internet.
The latest food trend taking over our 'gram feed appears to be the 'divorce cake.' According to Hello Giggles, bakeries around the globe have seen a rising number of requests for these splitsville desserts.
The publication even reports that the owner of Adult Cakes by Kim, a Houston bakery, has an “entire selection of divorce cakes,” and makes cakes for individual marital problems. Who even knew that was a thing?
