Pippa Middleton has named her new baby boy - and the reason behind her son's name is a touching tribute to her husband.
The sister of Kate Middleton got married earlier this year and gave birth just a few weeks ago in London.
She and husband, James Matthews, have decided to call their first child: Arthur Michael William Matthews.
One of his middle names is a beautiful tribute to her husband's brother, Michael, who tragically disappeared when he was just 23 as he attempted to climb Mount Everest.
Back in 1999, he went missing while climbing to the peak of the mountain and is assumed dead, although his body has never been found.
James' brother Spencer admits that James took his brother's death exceptionally hard and has never fully come to terms with it.
“James took the news badly," he once said. “With just a year and a half between them, he and Mike were the closest of friends. The loss was heartbreaking for James.”
Michael is also the first name of Pippa's dad.
The second middle name of little Arthur is William and that baby name inspiration is thought to have come from her brother-in-law, Prince William.
Pippa and William are known to have a close, special bond with Wills often looking at Pippa as his little sister.
