WATCH: the terrifying moment baby monitor captures ghostly figure

A Michigan couple were horrified when their baby monitor appeared to capture a ghostly male figure walking past their baby’s cot.

Mum Heather Brough was distressed when she found three deep scratches on her baby’s face, so she decided to investigate by checking her daughter’s monitor.

When looking at the camera footage she saw what appears to be a male figure walking quickly past daughter Lily’s cot, before seemingly disappearing.

It is believed the former occupants of the home were an elderly lady and her schizophrenic brother. The 25-year-old mum says she is too scared to stay living in the house.

“This is a spirit - I don't know what its intentions are but at this point it's becoming physically harmful,” she said. “This has made us want to leave as soon as possible. As soon as possible we're out of here.

“Seeing Lily's face with the scratches was so bizarre and frightening. There was no explanation as to how that would have happened. It happened within 20 minutes.

“We wondered if she'd scratched herself, but when we put her hands up to the scratches it did not match up. I think it's possible this is the previous tenant,” she added.

The creepy apparition on the baby monitor is not the first strange incident that has occurred within the home, however.

The mum-of-one says she has heard screaming, stomping and laughing while home alone and was even woken up by the sound of a man shouting. When she went to investigate, no-one was there.

“There have been times where me and my fiance would wake up in the morning and I would hear an angry male voice,” she said.

Heather also woke up one morning and felt like someone was trying to choke her. Paranormal investigators have visited the home and apparently confirmed there is ghostly activity on the property.
