'Why Sam and I haven’t been on a date in 10 months'
Snezana Markoski reveals how she balances work and family life, while planning a wedding too!
With a teenage daughter, new baby, busy work schedule and upcoming nuptials to fiancé Sam Wood, Snezana Markoski has a lot on her plate – and she’s refreshingly honest about it.
“Things are crazy at home,” she admits. “It’s a mad house but we absolutely love it!” Snez says her new baby girl Willow has added beautifully to her family, and 13-year-old Eve is loving her role as a big sister. “Having a new little addition has been incredible, we are all besotted with her. Eve is extremely caring and spends countless hours playing with her baby sister.”
Although she’s loving motherhood the second time around, Snez says it has its challenges. “When I had Eve I was a lot younger,” she says. “Now at 37 I need to make sure I’m looking after myself by eating right and working out so I have the energy to keep up with a baby, teenage girl and the biggest kid of them all, Dad!”
While she’s clearly madly in love with soon-to-be-husband Sam, Snez admits they don’t have a lot of time together as a couple at the moment. “Date night, what’s that?” she laughs. “I think we’ve maybe had one in the past 10 months.” The couple do have a wedding date set however and Snez says they are “in full swing organising the big day.”
Snez has been managing to keep up her regular workouts using Sam’s health and fitness plan, 28 By Sam Wood. “When you’re doing an at-home program finding the time to work out isn’t that hard,” Snez says. “I love doing a variety of strength and HIIT.
“Even with a baby like Willow who is currently power napping as opposed to actually sleeping it’s easy to find 28 minutes for a ‘quicky’. I just head to the lounge and start working out. If Willow wakes up I pick her up and get her involved or use her in place of my weights. She loves it and I’m getting my workout done.”
