2019 is the year that Phoebe Burgess will happily turn her back on.
In a bold move Sam and Phoebe have sold their family home, closing the door on their marriage for good.

Early 2019 Sam split from wife Phoebe three weeks after the birth of his second child Billy Mark.
The split came after NRL star Sam was cleared of any wrongdoing in the sexting scandal that happened in September when Phoebe was 28 weeks pregnant.
Sam found himself at the centre of a video chat scandal after his Facebook account was reportedly used to send nude photos to a 23-year-old woman.
'I’m not angry. What hurts me the most is seeing my wife upset about what’s out there,' the father of two told reporters during a press conference at the Rabbitohs’ Redfern training headquarters.

2019 was filled with controversy for the Burgess family.
Sam Burgess has was issued with a temporary apprehended violence order after a clash with Mitchell Hooke, the father of his estranged wife Phoebe.
Police issued the order after an incident between Sam and Mitchell in Bowral whilst Phoebe and the couples two children were staying at her parents property.

The couple have officially called time on their marriage and have sold their Maroubra family.
The home boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, underground pool and an underground garage with space for three cars.
Sam and Phoebe purchased the home for $3.8 million in 2016.
Selling their home on December 24 for a reported price of $5 million, netting a tidy profit of $1.2 million.

Since the couples break up, Phoebe has been staying at her parents Bowral country home and it is believed that Sam is renting in Coogee.
The couple share two children, Poppy, 2 and Billy, 1.
