She has been forced to postpone four of her concerts in Sydney - and now Pink's close friend and the promoter of her Aussie tour has revealed exactly why she's pulled out of all the live dates.
Michael Coppel, from Live Nation who put on the shows, said the poor 38-year-old singer was "seriously ill" and was "doubled over in pain".
In an interview with The Herald Sun, Coppel said, 'She suffered very serious attacks. She couldn't breathe and was doubled over in pain and had to be taken to hospital in an emergency ambulance.'
He added, 'She's human, not a superhero taking a day off.'
Fans have been inundating the mum-of-two with messages of support about her health, after some backlash in the media
In a statement, Pink apologised to fans and thanked the 'doctors and nurses at St. Vincent's Hospital for taking such good care of her'.
She was admitted to St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney on Sunday night, suffering from dehydration, before being treated and discharged.
'On Monday, we were absolutely planning on going ahead with the show,' she said on Instagram. 'And about 20 minutes before I left for soundcheck, I was rushed to the hospital, in excruciating pain. That was the reason for the late cancellation. It was out of anyone’s control, and of course, wasn’t planned that way.
On Monday, she was re-admitted to hospital and diagnosed with a gastric virus and remained there overnight.
Get well soon, Pink!
