Parents using horrifying new method to get children to eat

Toddlers can be notoriously picky eaters, and it’s not uncommon for parents to resort to crazy tactics in order to get their little ones to finish a meal – or even try a few bites.
However, a disturbing new trend has emerged online, where parents pretend to “feed” their child’s toy – then beat the toy with their hand if it “refuses” to eat.
Unsurpisingly, the poor child is then scared into eating their food, while the parents stifle their laughter.
While some people say the method is funny and “harmless”, others say it’s cruel and disturbing, and could well have negative long-lasting impacts on the child.
“His face! That poor kid is traumatized,” wrote one commenter on social media.
“This is horrible, I don’t know how anyone could find this funny,” wrote another.
