The Royal family has made the startling move of issuing a statement about Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and the new royal baby.
Kensington Palace made the surprise move after a report by long-time royal reporter, Katie Nicholl suggested the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to raise their new baby with a "fluid approach to gender."
The story outlined how Meghan did not want her child to be raised as male or female - but as "gender fluid".
"Meghan has been talking to some of her friends about the birth and how she and Harry plan to raise their baby. Her exact word was fluid," a source told Vanity Fair in Katie Nicholl's story. "She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes."
The magazine story notes that there are "multiple possible interpretations" behind the claims.
But Kensington Palace, who rarely comment about stories in the media, slammed the report as NOT true.
"This story is totally false," a spokesperson for the Palace revealed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are due to welcome their first child in April. They haven't revealed if they are having a boy or a girl but royal fans are convinced it will be a little girl after seeing bunches of pink roses and sweet treats following Meghan's New York baby shower, in New York.
A report yesterday claimed that Kate Middleton is set to host a “baby-themed” for her sister-in-law, following her lavish New York City bash.
