A mum has taken multi-tasking to a new level - taking photos as she gives birth!
Lauren Chenault, 24, captured the moment her son Kai was born thanks to a little help from her hubby.
Sharing some pictures on Facebook, Lauren wrote: "After 41 and half weeks the little man has finally arrived! Yes I took my own birth photos yes I know I'm insane lol."
She says she held the camera on her stomach for most of the birth and kept pressing the button to get the perfect shot.
"I thought it would be such a cool idea to show other mums that you can do this type of photography yourself," says Lauren, from New York.
Speaking to Popsugar, Lauren said, "I wanted to photograph my own birth to show how powerful women are."
"I'm able to grow a human inside me and push it out, so I wanted to document it. It was amazing capturing them; I wasn't even looking at what I was doing with the camera, I just kept snapping hoping that I got it."
Kai is Lauren's second child. She and her husband also have a one-year-old daughter Kailah.
