Mum celebrates C-section birth with amazing selfie

A photographer recently caused outrage after declining to photograph a woman’s C-section birth, saying, “A surgery isn’t birth my dear.”
But a Portuguese mum’s photo proves otherwise, captioning the moments her daughter, Carmel, was born.
In the picture, mum Thaise De Mari, can be seen with her husband and their daughter moments after she entered the world.

The mother captioned the photo (in Portuguese) saying: "And suddenly the picture of my life is without production, without resolution, without worries about hair, makeup, or angle!"
She added: "It is already a month since the craziest day of my life!!! It was surreal! And how I miss this moment! Want to go back in time for a few minutes! [There's no way to explain being able] to hear your cry and see your little face for the first time."
