Man charged with multiple offences after stealing iPads and computers from a school

NSW place have charged a 28-year-old man after electronic items stolen from a Sydney school.
The items were found located after he was caught speeding and a search of his vehicle followed.
Items including iPads, computers, a laptop, headphones and a keyboard allegedly fit the items from a robbery in Alexandria on Wednesday.
The man was charged with traffic, property and fraud offences after he was pulled over for speeding.
Traffic and Highway Patrol stopped a Holden Commodore southbound on the Hume Highway at Berrima, after it was allegedly detected exceeding the speed limit by more than 50km/h.
Further investigation revealed that the man had purchased the Commodore fraudulently in Canberra on Monday and the police allege he also failed to pay for accommodation in Bowral in January.
The 28-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station, where he was charged with exceed speed (over 45km/h), drive whilst disqualified, receive stolen property, possess property stolen outside NSW and fraud.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear before Campbelltown Local Court today (Friday 27 March 2020).
