'He loves Santa as much as Harry' Meet little Luke Vincent!

He's the little boy who captured our hearts in the space of three minutes - and became an instant hit with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

Little Luke Vincent from Dubbo was the kindergarten student who stood patiently in line to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but then threw royal protocol out the window by cuddling them both and stroking Harry's beard in the cutest way we've ever seen.

And it turns out that Luke, who has Down Syndrome, and attends Buninyong Public School was mesmerised by the Duke’s facial hair, principal Anne van Dartel said.

'He got a hug from Meghan and then Harry bent down to speak to him and Luke didn’t give him any choice!' she said.

'Luke’s favourite person in the world is Santa Claus, who has a beard. So he rubbed Harry’s beard.

'It’s been a wonderful experience for these little country kids to meet people they’ve only ever seen on TV.'

In another video shared by Channel Seven, the toddler can be seen stroking Harry's beard several times.

His carers laugh as the royal lets him continue. 

And now it looks like Santa is being given a run for his money as to who Luke's favourite person in the whole world is. When he was asked who he preferred Santa or Prince Harry he simply replied, 'Santa and Harry'.

And Mrs van Dartel summed it all up in one sentence, 'He’s often the star of the show at school, and now he’s the star of the show all around the world,' she said.
