Barry Hall’s loyal girlfriend Lauren Brant has spoken out after her partner appeared on TV show 60 Minutes talking about how they’ve received threats on social media.
On Sunday, Barry spoke about how his one-year-old son, Miller, had been threatened by trolls who were angry after he made an inappropriate comment about an AFL player's wife on Triple M and was sacked.
He made an offensive comment about the pregnant wife of ex-St Kilda player, Leigh Montana. ‘I say crude stuff like that, not to be degrading to women or inappropriate. It’s more to get people laughing,’ he admitted on 60 Minutes.
Lauren responded to comments on her Instagram about Barry and 60 Minutessaying that she felt Barry was a great dad.
‘I am forever grateful for the two gorgeous males in my life who make me so happy,’ she said on her post talking about little Miller and Barry.
And she added in her comments after one fan said she had seen Barry and Miller together, ‘Barry is an amazing father and such a wonderful partner, I’m glad people are taking notice of that in the ‘real world’.
Barry and Lauren met when they both appeared on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here… and they got together after the show had ended. They now live together with little Miller.
Barry revealed that since he lost his radio job, the couple have struggled with money and there is no end in sight for his employment prospects.
