Meghan Markle is "desperate to deliver her baby using hypnobirthing methods", according to new reports - and the world seems to have gone crazy about it.
The 37-year-old mum-to-be has been taking classes in the popular technique at the yoga centre she visits in London, according to the National Enquirer and Prince Harry has been attending too.
But for some reason, the world's media is acting as if this is the strangest thing its ever heard!
"Meghan is fixated on making the birth as natural as possible," a palace insider told the publication.
However, the Duchess of Sussex has been warned her birthing plan may be overruled by royal protocol.
Er...why?
A palace insider told National Enquirer, "If something went wrong, they would want Meghan surrounded by the top doctors, and the whole hypnobirthing idea doesn't really sit well with that."
"But Meghan is determined to do things her way," adds the source. "She is adamant that this is the birth plan she will follow."
Hypnobirthing is a form of self-hypnosis techniques to combat fear and pain during labor. Mums-to-be follow a course to teach themselves to remain calm and centred during their labour and birth.
Meghan is well-known for her love of yoga and meditation, so it's not an unusual step to want to use similar techniques during the birth of her first child, thought to be in April 2019.
