Bailey Sellers was devoted to her beloved Dad Mike, so when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer when she was just 16, her world fell apart.
Just a few short months later, Mike tragically passed away.
“I cried, I was numb,” Bailey said, “but it was kind of like a weight lifted off my shoulder in a way, because I knew he was no longer in pain and in a better place.”
Appearing on the Rachael Ray talk show, Bailey described how her Dad found a way to reach her even after he passed away.
On her 17th birthday, shortly after Mike died, Bailey received a beautiful bunch of flowers with a note that read: “You will receive these until your 21st birthday. I love you. Dad.”
Every year, Bailey posted photos of her bouquets on social media. However, as her 22nd birthday approached, Rachael stepped in and arranged for a bouquet to be given to her – not just this year, but every year.
An emotional Bailey hugged Rachael and said "thank you".
“And any time you’re in town I will feed you, for Dad,” Rachael promised as she wiped away tears. Aw!
