David Beckham is ATTACKED for THIS new photo

David Beckham has been attacked after he posted a photo of himself kissing daughter, Harper, 7, on the lips.

The 43-year-old's picture was met with a flurry of hateful comments from trolls on Instagram claiming it was 'wrong' for a father to kiss his daughter in this way

One follower posted: 'I don’t care what anyone says if a dad kisses a child on the lips it’s completely wrong smd'.

Another wrote: 'she's your daughter. .why are you kissing on her lips..?..that's ur wife kiss...', while a third shared, 'I feel like a kiss on the cheek is better than that n the lips. The lips is just weird'.

The former footballer has been hit by criticism before for kissing his children on the lips.

Last year, David was forced to defend his decision, insisting that he and his wife Victoria are 'always very affectionate' towards their brood of four. 

The sports star had hit back at his critics while taking part in a Facebook Live on his own official page during a trip to Bangkok, and insisted he kisses all of his children on the lips - apart from eldest son Brooklyn.

He had taken a selfie of himself and Harper, during a family Safari trip they had taken in Tanzania.

While many had branded the picture 'beautiful' and a reflection of the 'close bond' he has with Harper, David was also hit with a wave of negative comments with many complaining it was 'disgusting'. 

Baffled by this reaction, David defended the photo with Harper saying, 'I kiss all my kids on the lips.'

'Brooklyn maybe not. Brooklyn is 18, so he might find that a little strange, but I'm very affectionate with the kids.'

The husband of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham added, 'We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them and support them.'

Gushing about his role as a father, David added: 'Having children is the most special thing in the world.'

Like David, Victoria had too shared a photo of herself kissing Harper while the duo were taking a dip in the pool together during a holiday taken last year. 

Her photo had sparked a wide debate, as again, the fashion designer's social media followers had struggled to agree on the nature of the post. 

One user commented: 'It is strange to kiss your parents on the lips, we need to stop saying to other people it isn't.'

Another added: 'Ew sorry I’m old fashioned it looks like they making out.'
