Low on toilet paper? No worries! Aussie Mums genius hack to make your stash last longer.

“Mind blowing!”

Contributor, Practical Parenting / April 10 2020

Aussie supermarkets just can not keep up with the demand for loo roll. Major supermarkets have reported that they have been selling a whole weeks supply in just one day.

And when you can get your hands on the elusive toilet roll, you are limited on how much you can buy, often not enough to support the needs of a whole family stuck at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Aldi, Coles and Woolworths have had a one packet per customer policy in place for some weeks now.

If your limited supply at home is fast dwindling away, take note!

Genius mum Tammy has shared her brilliant idea to make your loo roll last longer.

She says: “Going through toilet paper faster than usual?? Try squashing the roll - so it doesn’t spin so quickly and then not as much will be pulled off.”

Tammy posted pictures to illustrate her genius loo roll hack.

Said another: “Will be doing this for hubby (I hear that toilet roll holder spin & I just cringe!)”

Adding a third: “I’ve been doing this for a number of years. It works - for me too, because I also know I’m likely to use too much.”

Genius!
