Bride left in TEARS on wedding day when guest makes a MASSIVE mistake
Oh dear...
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, but no matter how perfectly planned everything is, there are always a few little glitches here and there.
However one bride was left devastated after she and her new husband went to cut the cake and realized it had already been hacked into!
The wedding had been running smoothly up until that point, however apparently “all hell broke loose” when the discovery was made that the cake had been cut.
“Cake in question was a three-tiered cake made of different cheeses,” a guest at the wedding shared on Mumsnet. “Surrounded by grapes and crackers/biscuits. No little bride and groom on top.”

“An absolute war broke out about it. Half the people saying well, how were they supposed to know it was the cake, other half saying it was pretty obvious.
“Cake was in a separate room to the bar and dance floor. Bride in tears. Around three or four people had taken some of the cake by the time they realised!”
Readers were very divided in their response – just as the guests had been.
“Wtf, it's a chuffing cheese wheel...that's no wedding cake, how were they supposed to know?” wrote one.
“Although it was disrespectful of the guest, I don't think it was intentional. The bride crying seems a bit dramatic over such a trivial matter,” added another.
“It is bad manners for a guest to cut the cake. I witnessed one of the bride's relations cutting into their wedding cake before they did many years ago,” wrote a third. “No idea whether they were particularly upset although they managed to salvage one of the tiers for keeping.”
