Are they or aren't they dating?
After The Bachelor's Brooke Blurton walked out on Nick Cummins leaving him devastated and unable to pick a winner on the show, many fans of The Bachelor believe that the pair have been secretly dating.
How else do you explain why he failed to choose between Sophie Tieman and Brittany Hockley in the series finale?
Straight after the show, Nick flew out to walk the Kokoda Trail and he is yet to return to Australia to face his fans, but now in an interview with WHO, Brooke has answered some of the burning questions we all have.
How were you feeling when you left the house, did you have any regrets?
No, I don’t like to regret things. I obviously considered a few things and that’s why I made the decision to leave and I think in life you have to make decisions, it was really hard to leave, I had quite strong feelings for Nick, so coming to that decision was pretty difficult.
You say you had strong feelings for Nick, where you falling in love with him?
I believe we had a strong connection and strong chemistry, but for me it takes a bit of time to fall in love. Generally, I said, ‘I see myself falling in love with you’ because I genuinely enjoyed spending time with him but at the time I don’t think I was in love with Nick.
You say that you don’t fall in love easily, is that because of your experiences in the past?
Previously relationships have been a factor but I think people give love and receive love differently and the way I give love and receive love is through consistency and spending time with someone that I enjoy spending time with.
What are your feelings for Nick now?
Well, obviously it has been a while since we have done the show, so I don’t know. I haven’t seen him or spoken to him so I don’t know where the relationships sits.
If Nick had expressed his feelings to you more do you think it could have changed things?
Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve, I don’t like to believe in the ‘what if’. Who knows.
Do you think that we will ever see you back on our TV’s?
Not for a while! Who knows what the future could hold, but right now I am definitely having a break and enjoying myself and being in Perth. But you can’t predict the future.
