Babies born in May are LUCKIER and more SUCCESSFUL than anyone else
It's official!
If you were born in May, have a child who was, or are due to give birth this month, then we’ve got good news for you!
According to researchers, people born during May have a lucky star shining down on them, and are highly driven individuals destined for success in life. Here are five reasons why it’s awesome to be a May baby.
1 They are driven to succeed
Astrology may play a part in why May babies do so well in life. Babies born in the first half of May are Taureans, who are known for being hard workers and thrifty savers. Children born from May 21 to June 20 are Gemini, known for being versatile as well as great communicators and networkers, which may explain why May babies have a headstart on others.
2 They’re inherently lucky
A 2004 survey of more than 40,000 people found babies with May birthdays are luckier than those born in any other month. According to British psychologist Professor Richard Wiseman, who led the research, that could be because of the “changes in how some parents interact with their babies during summer and winter.” Obviously this pertains mainly to the Northern Hemisphere but the month of May is temperate and sunny in the Southern Hemisphere too.
3 Their birthstone is the emerald
The elegant emerald, May's birthstone, is meant to attract good fortune, particularly financial fortune and was a stone highly sought after by royalty for centuries. Apparently Cleopatra had a particular fondness for the stone, and used them in her royal garb.
4 They may well be destined for the big screen
A wide range of successful actors have birthdays in May, including George Clooney, Jamie Dornan, Dwayne Johnson, Christina Hendricks, Will Arnett, Cate Blanchett and Rosario Dawson, to name a few. So perhaps think about signing up for some acting classes.
5 They’re born the same month as Mother’s Day
May babies are born in the same month as this meaningful holiday. And for some lucky moms, the baby's birthday might fall on the second Sunday in May from time to time. Could there be any better Mother’s Day gift?
